The Gulf of Mexico’s beaches and Mobile Bay fishing areas can be enjoyed leisurely on a day off. Abundant fresh water fishing on rivers and hunting advantages in Baldwin County add to the enjoyment of living in Daphne. With the City population approximately 18,000 and growing, Daphne is the largest city in Baldwin County, with more than 3,500 students attending schools.
Our location is convenient to Mobile and Pensacola , and we are less than an hour away from the beautiful Gulf of Mexico . There are outstanding hospitals in Mobile , Pensacola , and Fairhope which is only a few moments away. Our area provides churches of major denominations, as well as excellent schools that excel in academics and athletics.

Daphne is perhaps most famous for being one of
the few places in the world to experience the phenomenon known as a "Jubilee".
This event brings blue crabs, shrimp and fish into the shallow waters of the
shoreline, just waiting to be scooped up by those waiting to fill their ice
chests. Thus giving us the title "The Jubilee City."
