Daphne Civic Center & Bayfront Pavilion

Daphne Civic Center

The City of Daphne has built more than a Civic Center. We have built on the foundation of service a facility that will enhance the quality of life for all citizens of Daphne. The Daphne Civic Center serves as an integral part of the Daphne community as a centerpiece for community events, meetings, theater productions, balls, weddings and more. An experienced and highly trained staff oversees function services for the center, which provides a place to host any size event, from as little as 40 people to as large as 1,700 guests.

The goal of our Sales Department is to provide needed assistance for planning successful but affordable meetings and events. Exceptional quality and a high level of service is Daphne Civic Center's trademark.

Bayfront Pavilion

In 1996, the City of Daphne acquired the property located at the end of Bayfront Park Drive, which was named Bayfront Park. In 1997, the pavilion located on the property was dedicated by the Daphne City Council to the memory of Richard Scardamalia, a local photographer. Mr. Scardamalia was instrumental in the effort to acquire the property as a park for the citizens of Daphne.

Daphne's Bayfront Pavilion has developed a reputation for an outstanding level of service to its clients. The Richard Scardamalia Pavilion is virtually "standing at ready" for any event, making it the perfect place for weddings, rehearsals, receptions, office meetings, Christmas parties, community gatherings, family reunions and more. Bayfront Pavilion is located on the grounds of the beautiful Bayfront Park along the shores of Mobile Bay.
