Hurricane Sally Updates

September 17, 2020 - The City of Daphne Public Works division hopes to resume normal household garbage collection schedules on Monday, September 21 for accessible areas.

Residents are asked to place all storm debris at the edge of roadways for pick-up; however, please do not place debris in roadway as to block traffic flow. Garbage, storm and/or yard debris should be separated as best as possible following these guidelines, as garbage, vegetative debris and construction-type debris will be collected by different crews.

If you have additional questions, please contact Daphne Public Works at 251-620-2100.

September 14, 2020 - Due to Hurricane Sally, the City of Daphne municipal operations will be closed on Tuesday, September 15 and Wednesday, September 16. All emergency personnel will remain staffed, as well as essential Public Works crews.

For safety reasons, garbage and trash collection set for Tuesday, September 15 and Wednesday, September 16 have been suspended. Routes will continue with pick-ups once weather conditions improve. For additional information, contact Daphne Public Works at 251-620-2100.
