Integrated Mosquito Management Program

The City of Daphne Integrated Mosquito Management Program includes educational awareness, surveillance, and environmentally safe methods of mosquito control within the city limits. The primary objective of the program is to monitor and reduce mosquito populations through the use of specific, environmentally sound, control techniques in order to protect our residents from the threat of mosquito-borne diseases.

The city conducts mosquito spraying (fogging) throughout the community as trap results dictate and when weather conditions are conducive to the best effectiveness. Spraying is expected to begin April 1 for the 2018 season. Treatment will be conducted Monday through Thursday from 2:30 pm until 11:00 pm, once every two weeks.

If you would like prior notification of fogging in your area due to health issues, please contact our Public Works Department at 251-621-3182 to be placed on a notification list.
