SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 7

First week of games***! The regular 2019 season will last approximately eight (8) weeks.

* Equipment - the City of Daphne Parks & Recreation Department will provide each player with a helmet, shoulder pads, game jersey and ONE (1) mouthpiece. Each of these items MUST be returned at the end of the season or appropriate fines will be applied. Parents/Guardians will need to provide their player with footwear, chin strap, practice jersey (or a large t-shirt that will fit appropriately over shoulder pads), practice pants and game pants. Practice pants may be any color of your choice. Game pant color will be determined by each team's head coach.

** Practices -  most teams will practice three (3) nights per week prior to games beginning and then drop to two (2) times per week during the playing season. Official rules state that no coach can practice their team or play games for more than six (6) hours per week. Most practices are held at Al Trione Sports Complex, however some coaches may schedule at an alternate practice location (such as the Daphne High School "PIt" or Daphne Middle School).

*** Games - most games for the 2019 season will most likely begin the Saturday following Labor Day, September 7. Teams will play eight (8) regular season games, with the possibility of advancing to playoffs resulting in additional games. In most cases, the season should conclude prior to Thanksgiving. Game locations will take place throughout Baldwin County, anywhere from Bay Minette to Gulf Shores. Most games will take place on Saturdays, with the possibility of mid-week games, if need be.
