In the spirit of “it just takes 1”, our noise ordinance is lacking. We have a neighbor, despite repeated requests from multiple neighbors to please turn their music down, they simply refuse. I can hear it in my bedroom just as loud as if the music was being played in my home. We can’t enjoy our own backyard due to their noise, and there is nothing we can do. If they were in their car, or walking down the street, action could be taken. That seems silly- everyone should be able to enjoy their yard. I am not suggesting they don’t play their music, I am suggesting the volume shouldn’t sound like a concert in my home. As I type this, my windows are shaking from their music. Shaking. But it is before 10p and I can’t do anything?
