Description:

The overall purpose of the project is to provide the City of Daphne an additional parking lot for the City Hall building in an adjacent lot to the north located on Belrose Avenue. The new parking lot shall be constructed of approximately 950 sy of full depth asphalt in the drivable areas, while the parking stall areas shall be constructed of approximately 619 sy of permeable brick pavers. Included in the project scope, is the installation of concrete sidewalk connecting the existing parking lot to the new parking lot as well as sidewalk along Belrose Avenue. Also included in the scope, is the installation of curbing, storm drainage pipe, storm drainage structures, landscaping and irrigation

The Engineer for the Project is Goodwyn, Mills & Cawood, Inc. The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is 2039 Main Street, Daphne, AL. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below.

Potential Bidders may procure Specifications materials from the Engineer upon payment of a deposit of Twenty dollars ($20.00) for a one-time administrative fee for digital/file sharing access or Fifty dollars ($50.00) per printed set. Potential Bidders are encouraged to request digital materials in lieu of printed materials. This deposit is non-refundable. The cost assessed for each set of Specifications materials shall be in accord with Title 39 of the Code of Alabama (1975). No Specifications will be issued to potential Bidders later than twenty-four (24) hours prior to the deadline indicated above for submitting bids.
