The City of Daphne (City) plans to implement a drainage master plan and drainage improvements project in a watershed that includes the Mayday Park stormwater outfall. The City is seeking a qualified Consultant to provide professional engineering services for the implementation of the drainage master plan through an Alabama Coastal Area Management Program Grant (ADEM- Alabama Department of Environmental Management) that also includes the replacement of a stormwater culvert within the Mayday park which discharges into Mobile Bay.

Professional Engineering Services – Minimum Qualifications

1. Be full service Engineering Firm offering Civil Engineering (with access to
Land Survey) services maintaining a main or divisional office within the
Eastern Shore of Baldwin County, Alabama.
2. Hold a Certificate of Authorization in Engineering from the Alabama State
Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.
3. Maintain a resident Professional (Civil) Engineer in an Eastern Shore of
Baldwin County Office.
4. Meet the City’s minimum Insurance coverage requirements.
5. Have expertise and experience in CIVIL ENGINEERING FOR ROADWAY and
DRAINAGE INFRASTRUCTURE.
6. Have Municipal, Utility and Private Sector experience in Baldwin or Mobile
Counties in roadway and drainage projects.
