One Hundred and Eighty (180) calendar days will be allowed for the completion of the Project.
The Work will consist of approximately 680 linear feet of storm sewer pipe, drainage structures, and roadway repair. The proposed work will require the demolition of the existing drainage infrastructure, as well as cementitious filling of existing storm pipes. Sections of the existing boardwalk will be required to be removed for the removal and replacement of the storm sewer pipes and structures. An existing concrete slab is proposed to be removed and replaced with brick pavers or with new concrete. These two options are broken down in Additive Alternate #1 and #2. Storm sewer pipe being installed in the roadway will require demolition of asphalt and curbs and is proposed to be replaced to match its existing grades.
Potential Bidders may procure Specifications materials from the Engineer digitally at no charge OR upon payment of a deposit of Fifty dollars ($50) per printed set. Potential Bidders are encouraged to request digital materials in lieu of printed materials. This deposit is non-refundable. The cost assessed for each set of Specifications materials shall be in accord with Title 39 of the Code of Alabama (1975). Contact Dewberry to request a set. No Specifications will be issued to potential Bidders later than twenty-four (24) hours prior to the scheduled bid opening. No questions from potential Bidders will be answered through addendum later than forty-eight (48) hours prior to the scheduled bid opening.
